Anyways. I've been couped up alot in my room the past few months cos I'm catching up with work. Laziness will reap more laziness. Adeh.
You know how some people say that "God will only help those who help themselves?"
Its true for you if you have no faith in Christ and our wonderful Father, for whom there is nothing too difficult or impossible. He makes all things happen as He wills it. So I tell you people, God will only help you if you ask Him!!! Cos lets face it, no one is good at everything and we are bound to be terrible at things we have no talent in.

That's where God's grace comes in. What is grace? Grace is a gift that we don't deserve from God. That is how wonderful our God is. He is always giving us presents we don't deserve.

The Bible says we should not be disillusioned and think we can get to heaven by being good. But the raw truth is this:
That's why God sent His Son (Jesus, the only Man ever good enough) to save us. And it is only through Him that we will ever reach God.
We will never be "good" enough for God. He is so very holy and so very good.

We don't have to prove anything to Jesus. He takes us for who we are. Sinners. None of us can ever be perfectly good because we just can't. Not even self-discipline will take you anywhere. There is nothing you can do about it. Only God's grace can save. Only Jesus offers salvation!
I learned awhile ago that life is not about ourselves and what WE want to achieve. Life is not about us. Life is about God and worshiping Him. That is the purpose of our creation.

"Why am I here?"
You will never get the answer cos you are asking the wrong person. Its like the pot asking itself, "For what reason was I created? What am I supposed to do?"
Ask the right person. Ask Jesus because He is God.
I know some people will be skeptical if He will ever answer. First of all, you struggle to even believe that He exists.

First of all, I must tell you that He can only answer you if you come in faith. If you do not let your heart be open to God and do not trust in Him.. Well there will be no answer.

Believe. Put faith in Him. After all, its not like you have anything to lose. On the contrary, you have everything to gain!
I leave you with the words of Jesus which I constantly call upon when I pray. I pray that you do the same..
“I tell you, if you ask anything of the Father in my name, he will give it to you. Until now you have not asked for anything in my name. Ask and you will receive, so that your joy will be complete” (John 16:23b-24).
